RESIDENT PHARMACIST in Pomona, California at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center

Job Summary: Performs all accountabilities within Pharmacist scope of practice, with a focus on therapeutic assessment and intervention as needed for optimal patient care. Consultative services are provided to medical, nursing, Respiratory, Physical Therapy, and other staff as requested. Education regarding medication use issues is provided to patients, families, and other caregivers when appropriate. May perform other duties as assigned. May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Valid Intern Pharmacist license issued by the State of California. Must obtain a Registered Pharmacist license within ninety (90) days from entering the Pharmacy Resident Program. Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy: BLS or ACLS. Is able to meet the Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications of the position as given in New Hire physical.
