Group Activity Instructor at NFC Amenity Management – New York, New York

We are looking for a candidate who works well independently and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Making eye contact and being welcoming are essential. The pay for this part-time position is $70 commission per hour class.We are interviewing for certified Yoga Instructors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional, safe, and practical classes that offer ongoing motivation and feedback to participants.
• Create enthusiastic and energetic class environments.
• Place specific emphasis on safety and proper movement execution.
• Assist the site manager in the marketing, promotion, and tracking of classes.
• Provides management with any feedback received from class participants.
• Provide recommendations on industry trends, equipment, and ideas to enhance the group exercise program.
• Maintains certifications and licenses as required for the position.
• Abides by uniform and grooming standards.

Qualifications:

• A passion for fitness/group activity.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong customer service/sales orientation.
• Strong individual and team contributor.
• Prior experience preferred, National certification.
• AED/CPR certification
