We are seeking an experienced Field Project Manager to support industrial coating operations across the Great Plains area. This position is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality field execution across multiple active job sites in heavy industrial environments.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in the field, understands the technical aspects of surface preparation and coating application, and can confidently lead crews while supporting operational execution. This role serves as a field leader who ensures equipment readiness, quality compliance, and proper execution planning while supporting traveling crews in dynamic job environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide field leadership across multiple active industrial projects
Ensure all coating equipment is mobilized, operational, and job-ready
Support foremen and field crews with daily execution planning
Verify compliance with project specifications and coating procedures
Oversee surface preparation and multi-coat system applications
Ensure proper application of intumescent and fireproofing systems when applicable
Assist with quality control documentation and inspections
Identify and proactively resolve jobsite challenges
Serve as a technical resource for coating systems and equipment troubleshooting
Support coordination with Operations, Safety, and Project Management teams
Maintain strong communication with customers and field personnel
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of industrial coating experience
Minimum NACE Level 1 (AMPP CIP Level 1) certification required
Extensive experience in refineries, chemical plants, processing facilities, data centers, or heavy industrial environments
Strong working knowledge of:
o Surface preparation standards (SSPC/NACE)
o Multi-coat protective coating systems
o Intumescent and fireproofing applications
o Airless and plural component spray systems
o Coating inspection and quality documentation
Proven leadership experience supervising field crews
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory

Travel Requirements
Extensive travel required throughout assigned area (6080%). Candidate must be comfortable supporting multiple job sites and working alongside traveling crews.
