About This Position
The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards through inspection, testing, and documentation. This role supports manufacturing operations by identifying defects, enforcing quality procedures, and promoting continuous improvement to maintain customer and company requirements.

- Perform in-process and final inspections of products and materials
- Measure and test products using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Read and interpret specifications and quality standards
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials or products
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation
- Conduct audits of production processes to ensure compliance
- Work closely with production teams to improve quality and reduce defects
- Ensure adherence to company quality policies and procedures
- Assist with incoming material inspections as needed
- Adhere to Condair’s Quality Assurance System and Health and Safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Education or Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred, not required
- 2 years of quality, manufacturing, or inspection experience required
- Knowledge of basic quality tools and inspection techniques
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to:
- Ability to sit, stand, and operate equipment for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Frequent turning, twisting, and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for measuring and inspecting small parts
- Visual acuity for detailed inspection work
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (warehouse/production environment
While performing the job duties, the employee is regularly exposed to:
- Manufacturing/production floor setting
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and moving equipment
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe shoes
