Ruoff Mortgage is a family-owned Indiana mortgage company, and we're hiring an Administrative Assistant at our Elkhart branch who is fluent in both English and Spanish. You'll be the first person our clients and partners see when they walk in, and the person our Loan Officers rely on to keep the office running smoothly.
But this isn't just a front desk job. You'll also be creating social media content — videos, reels, and posts — for our Loan Officers across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. If you're someone who's organized, personable, and knows your way around a phone and a phone camera, keep reading.
What you'll do:
- Welcome guests and manage front-of-office operations
- Answer phones, route calls, and handle routine inquiries — in English and Spanish
- Translate and interpret for clients and team members as needed
- Create and manage social media content for Loan Officers (video, reels, graphics)
- Prepare and distribute marketing materials in coordination with our marketing team
- Maintain filing systems, handle correspondence, and manage day-to-day office organization
- Stay current on local real estate market trends
What we're looking for:
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) — this is required, not optional
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort with social media platforms and creating content (video editing is a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- A self-starter mentality — you take initiative without being asked
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework or degree is a plus)
- At least one year of office or administrative experience preferred
