Resp Therapy Assistant at Major Hospital – Shelbyville, Indiana

Provides limited respiratory treatment, diagnostics and therapy under the direct supervision of a credentialed respiratory care practitioner. Student practitioners are under medical and technical supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

· Setting up and calibrating equipment

· Observing and recording patient signs and status during treatment

· Assisting with respiratory treatment under supervision of Respiratory Therapist

· Properly cleaning and sterilizing equipment
