Job Description

Description:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of vinyl window materials, components, hardware, glass, and supplies
Accurately match deliveries against purchase orders, bills of lading, and packing slips
Follow established SOPs for receiving, labeling, staging, and inventory control
Coordinate and track inter-company transfers between multiple divisions
Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect materials and report discrepancies promptly
Enter receiving data into inventory or ERP systems accurately and timely
Maintain clean, organized, and safe receiving and storage areas
Work closely with warehouse, production, purchasing, and logistics teams
Adhere to all safety policies, including forklift operation and material-handling procedures
Support inventory counts and audits as needed

Requirements:

2+ years of warehouse receiving experience, preferably in the window, door, or building materials industry
Experience receiving manufacturing materials (vinyl extrusions, glass, aluminum, hardware, etc.) is strongly preferred
Proven ability to follow SOPs and documented processes consistently
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Basic computer skills (ERP, WMS, or inventory systems)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
