This role serves as a key strategic partner to merchandising and planning teams, translating business requirements into scalable, effective technology solutions. You will drive system strategy, functional and technical design, and successful delivery across PLM, merchandising, planning, integrations, and reporting platforms. This position requires strong collaboration with IT, engineering, and vendor partners, ensuring solutions improve operational efficiency, visibility, and decision-making. The role involves hands-on execution, mentoring, and process optimization, while influencing stakeholders and supporting end-user adoption. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy solving complex problems, implementing enterprise systems, and making a direct impact on business outcomes.
- Partner with merchandising and planning leaders to gather, define, and prioritize system and process requirements
- Act as a subject matter expert for PLM, merchandising, and planning systems, translating business needs into functional and technical solutions
- Document business requirements, business cases, and functional specifications
- Drive functional and technical design, supporting system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
- Coordinate integrations, reporting solutions, and user acceptance testing (UAT) with cross-functional teams
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, end-user reviews, and provide guidance to junior team members
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization, ensuring solutions meet evolving business needs
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Technical Analyst, preferably in a retail environment
- Experience supporting PLM, merchandising, and planning systems
- Familiarity with cloud-based PLM platforms (Centric preferred) and Oracle Retail Suite (Merchandising, Pricing, Invoice Management preferred)
- Experience in cloud-based environments (Oracle V19+ preferred)
- Strong understanding of system integrations, reporting, and translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to mentor junior team members and influence stakeholders across cross-functional teams
