What You’ll Do
The Credit Analyst will be part of the team that is responsible for supporting the portfolio managers that oversee the firm’s various credit strategies. The team collaborative efforts focus on both fundamental macro and credit analysis and quantitative methodologies to identify potential investments.

Qualifications:
Compensation Range: $125,000.00 - $200,000.00 plus discretionary bonus.
The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, education, internal equity, and physical work location within the state.

What You’ll Do
The Credit Analyst will be part of the team that is responsible for supporting the portfolio managers that oversee the firm’s various credit strategies. The team collaborative efforts focus on both fundamental macro and credit analysis and quantitative methodologies to identify potential investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fundamental credit research on high yield bonds, investment grade corporate bonds and leveraged loans in support of actively managed fixed income portfolios.
- Support Senior Analysts in monitoring assigned industries and produce periodic industry reports.
- Monitor credits and prepare periodic credit and security reports.
- Evaluate capital structures and covenants of individual securities.
- Recommend relative value and absolute trade ideas in both new issue and secondary market investment opportunities.
- Interact with external information sources such as company management teams, Wall Street analysts, and rating agency analysts.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience assessing corporate credit risk, investment banking or other similar sectors is required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) license is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Individual must be driven, resourceful and a self-starter.
- Must work well in a team environment, including interaction with portfolio managers, traders, and other credit analysts.
- Strong communication and financial analysis skills.
- Previous industry sector research responsibilities.
- Must be proficient in Excel and Word, at a minimum.
- Possess proficient skills in financial statement analysis and application to fixed income markets.
- Performance track record is a plus, but not mandatory.
- The ability to speak a foreign language is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of FactSet is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Ability to manage databases and write code is a plus, but not mandatory.
