Nurse Practitioner - Endocrine in Syracuse, New York at Crouse Hospital

The nurse practitioner practices in collaboration with the attending physician as direct healthcare providers. Responsibilities include working with patients and families to coordinate the delivery of care throughout hospitalization. This is done by assessing, diagnosing, treating, educating and consulting through regular and/or crisis intervention.

We are currently hiring a full-time Endocrine Nurse Practitioner.

Schedule: 6:30am-3:00pm; 7:00am-3:30pm; 7:30am-4:00pm

Hourly Rate: $55.00 - $69.00 / hour

Responsibilities:

The Endocrine NP provides comprehensive diabetes management and education to patients & families in both acute and ambulatory settings. Patients are identified through case findings and requests for consultations.

Job Requirements:

• Current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Current New York State License as an Adult, Family Nurse Practitioner or Specialty area
• Minimum of two (2) years RN experience in critical care nursing.
• Master of Science Degree in Nursing or its direct equivalent, preferred.
• ACLS certification required.
