About This Position
Louisville Tile is seeking an I.T. Manager for our Information Technology Department. The I.T. Manager is responsible for supporting and coordinating Louisville Tile’s information technology systems, infrastructure, and ERP platform. The I.T. Manager provides hands-on technical leadership, assisting the I.T. team with troubleshooting, system maintenance, and project implementation while maintaining strong service standards for internal users. The I.T. Manager oversees day-to-day I.T. operations including ERP system support, infrastructure oversight, user support services, and vendor coordination. This role ensures that I.T. systems effectively support business operations and works closely with department leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and operational efficiencies. This is a full-time M-F position.

Requirements:Management Responsibilities
The position has supervisory responsibilities and authority. The following are the responsibilities and govern your activities over subordinate employees:
•This position has direct reports: Systems Administrator, ERP systems Administrator.
•Provide leadership, coaching, and support to IT team members to promote collaboration and professional growth.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review projects, priorities, and departmental initiatives.
• Monitor team performance and ensure support requests and projects are handled efficiently and effectively.
• Participate in employee evaluations, performance feedback, and development planning.
• Support scheduling, workload distribution, and task prioritization within the IT team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, service, and continuous improvement within the department.
Management Authority
• Coordinate efforts with third-party IT vendors and service providers within established company guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining system security practices including user access controls, system updates, and monitoring vulnerabilities. Support implementation of policies and procedures that protect company data and systems.
• Assist with system audits, backup processes, and disaster recovery planning as needed.
• Assist in prioritizing IT initiatives and projects based on business needs.
• Approve routine technology purchases and hardware replacements within approved guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to company IT policies, procedures, and security practices.
• Provide recommendations to leadership regarding technology improvements and operational efficiencies.

• Collaborate with HR on IT Policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
IT Operations and Infrastructure
Oversee the day-to-day operation and performance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including desktops, servers, networking equipment, and related systems, while assisting with the installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of hardware, software, and operating systems. Ensure all systems remain secure, up to date, and operating efficiently by monitoring system health, backups, and overall performance. Maintain an accurate inventory of company technology assets and coordinate closely with outsourced IT providers to support infrastructure, networking, and security needs. Serve as the primary internal liaison between company leadership, internal IT staff, and third-party IT partners.
ERP System Support
Support ERP reporting, data analysis, and troubleshooting through SQL queries and database tools, while identifying data issues, system errors, and opportunities for process improvement. Collaborate with departments to develop reports, dashboards, and data extracts, and provide oversight of the ERP system including configuration, integrations, workflows, and performance. Assist in resolving ERP-related issues by coordinating with internal users and vendors, and work across the organization to enhance ERP processes. Contribute to the evaluation of system upgrades and changes to assess operational impact.
User Support and Service Management
Ensure effective end-user support services by coordinating internal IT staff and external providers, while assisting with troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and enterprise system issues as needed. Support user onboarding and offboarding processes, including system access, permissions, and equipment setup, and ensure timely response and resolution of helpdesk tickets and support requests.
Vendor and Project Coordination
Collaborate with external IT service providers, software vendors, and technology partners to support infrastructure and system needs, while assisting in the coordination of IT projects such as system upgrades, new implementations, and infrastructure improvements. Maintain clear documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures, and support leadership in identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through technology.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical field preferred. Equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant work experience may be considered. 5–8 years of experience supporting enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, ERP systems, or related technical environments.
Preferred qualifications include:
• Experience supporting ERP systems in a business environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and Office applications
• Experience administering Active Directory and user access management
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals including switches, firewalls, and wireless networks
• Experience working with SQL databases and writing SQL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, or data analysis
• Experience supporting ERP reporting, data extraction, or integrations
• Experience working with helpdesk or IT service management systems
• Experience managing or mentoring technical staff
• Experience coordinating with third-party IT service providers or managed service partners
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft certifications, CompTIA Network+, Security+, ITIL, or ERP-related certifications are considered a plus.
