The Emberly at Heritage Glen is an assisted living and memory care community in Fort Worth — 90 apartments across assisted living and memory care. We are a team-first community. We take care of our people so our people can take care of our residents.

THE ROLE
Our Servers are the heartbeat of the dining room. You will provide exceptional table and dining service to our residents and guests in accordance with Thrive Senior Living hospitality standards — taking orders, responding to needs, and creating a dining experience that feels warm, dignified, and personal every single day.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
∙ Know the daily and anytime menu items and provide helpful descriptions to residents and guests
∙ Assist residents with menu selections and respond to questions about menu items
∙ Take meal and beverage orders and serve requested items according to established guidelines
∙ Attend pre-meal briefings to stay informed on the meal and dining support activities
∙ Maintain assigned tables and surrounding areas in a complete state of cleanliness and readiness
∙ Perform dining room setup and table resets in accordance with dining room procedures
∙ Complete opening and closing checklists and assigned side work
∙ Follow all local, state, and federal policies regarding safe food handling at all times
∙ Maintain all work areas in a healthful and safe condition
∙ Maintain confidentiality of resident information at all times
∙ Actively participate as a team member and contribute to a positive team environment

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education:
High school diploma or GED required. Current CPR certification required.
Experience:
Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living preferred.
Skills:
∙ Strong customer service instincts with the ability to manage difficult or emotional situations with grace
∙ Clear communicator who listens well and responds to resident needs promptly
∙ Team-oriented with a positive, dependable attitude
∙ Organized and able to manage time effectively during a full dining service

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, stoop, bend, and reach frequently. Comfortable working in a healthcare environment.

Schedule:
Full-Time and Part-Time positions available. Flexibility required including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
