ASSEMBLY OPERATOR – FIRST SHIFT
Temp-to-Hire • Full-Time • $17.00/Hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Pay Rate: $17.00 per hourPosition OverviewWe are actively recruiting experienced Light Manufacturing Assembly Operators on behalf of our client. This is a temp-to-hire, first shift opportunity for candidates with prior light manufacturing or production assembly experience who are ready to contribute from day one. Qualified candidates will join a team-oriented production environment performing hands-on assembly tasks in accordance with quality and safety standards. Strong performers will be considered for direct hire based on attendance, performance, and production goals.Key Responsibilities

• Perform light manufacturing assembly of parts, components, or sub-assemblies per work instructions and product specifications
• Use hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and light power tools as required by the assembly process
• Inspect assembled products for visual defects, proper fit, and conformance to quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times
• Meet production quotas and cycle time goals while maintaining quality
• Complete required documentation, checklists, and production records accurately
• Communicate issues, defects, or production concerns promptly to team leads or supervisors
• Follow all company safety policies, including proper use of PPE

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of hands-on light manufacturing assembly or production experience required
• Familiarity with assembly line processes, quality inspection, and production documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted
• Reliable attendance and punctuality – this is a first shift position with set hours
• Team player with a positive, safety-first attitude
• High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent work experience considered
