Responsibilities:

• Interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure product compliance.
• Perform first article and in-process inspections using precision measurement tools such as surface plates, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Accurately record, analyze, and submit inspection data in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Support and maintain compliance with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Conduct internal audits and surveillance activities to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Supervise and provide direction to personnel engaged in inspection and testing functions.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure the quality and conformity of purchased materials and components.
• Investigate customer quality concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain a strong understanding of quality standards, including ISO 9001 requirements and responsibilities.
• Prepare routine reports, documentation, and correspondence related to quality activities.
• Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support quality and operational objectives.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in applying mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, FMEA, Process Flow Diagrams, MSA, and Supplier Audits.
• Experience operating within ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
