Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Radiology Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and supporting providers with accurate and timely imaging results.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, in accordance with physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for imaging while ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Follow proper radiation protection protocols for patients and staff
- Review images for quality and accuracy prior to submission
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support patient care
- Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean, organized, and stocked
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Active Texas state radiology license required
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of radiology/imaging experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
