The Payroll Manager will also manage payroll-related reporting, address payroll tax or garnishment inquiries and conduct internal audits.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll-related reporting, including filings like 941s and W-2s.
- Address payroll tax and garnishment inquiries from employees and business partners.
- Conduct payroll reconciliations and internal audits to resolve discrepancies.
- Design and implement organization-wide compliance policies and practices.
- Lead a team in developing strategic plans for payroll system improvements.
- Ensure payroll systems are designed and process accurately.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- CPP or FPC certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in payroll tax reconciliations, audits and regulatory filings.
- Experience with payroll systems and ADP SmartCompliance.
