About the team and what we will build together
You are a Senior SDET within the Production Engineering / Operations team, playing a critical role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and quality of systems in production and pre-production environments. You will work closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Production Support teams to validate system behavior under real-world conditions and prevent defects from reaching production.
You will be part of a team focused on building a highly reliable and resilient operational ecosystem, where testing is deeply integrated into release validation, system monitoring, and continuous improvement.In this role, you will:
  • Drive an automation-first approach for validating APIs, UI, and backend systems with a strong focus on production readiness
  • Design and maintain test frameworks aligned to operational use cases, including regression, integration, and release validation
  • Lead performance and load testing initiatives to ensure systems can handle real-world traffic and scale
  • Analyze QA and production metrics (defect leakage, failure patterns, test coverage) to proactively identify quality gaps
  • Support release validation and production readiness, ensuring deployments meet reliability and performance standards
  • Leverage AI-driven testing tools and techniques to improve defect detection, optimize test coverage, and enhance efficiency
  • Collaborate with Production Support teams to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and prevent recurrence
  • Balance automation with targeted manual and exploratory testing, especially for edge cases and high-risk scenarios
  • You will contribute to building an operations-driven quality ecosystem, where testing is continuous, intelligent, and directly aligned with system reliability and customer impact.
How you will make an impact

· Drive end-to-end quality strategy across applications ensuring high standards in functional, performance, and reliability testing.

· Perform manual and exploratory testing for edge cases and usability scenarios.

· Leverage AI-driven testing tools and techniques to improve coverage and efficiency.

· Design and implement robust test automation frameworks for API, UI, and backend systems.

· Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is built into the development lifecycle.

· Develop and execute API testing strategies using tools like REST Assured and SoapUI.

· Lead front-end testing initiatives ensuring seamless user experience across devices and browsers.

· Define and execute performance and load testing strategies for scalability and resilience.

· Analyze QA metrics (defect leakage, coverage, pass rates) to improve processes.

· Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

· Maintain strong test documentation, traceability, and defect prevention strategies.

What you need to be successful

· 6–10+ years of experience in QA / SDET roles.

· Strong understanding of manual testing and exploratory testing techniques.

· Strong hands-on experience in automation frameworks for API and UI testing.

· Experience with API testing tools such as REST Assured, SoapUI.

· Experience with UI automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

· Experience in performance/load testing using JMeter, Gatling or similar.

· Ability to define and analyze QA metrics and KPIs.

· Experience in Agile environments with CI/CD integration.

· Understanding of backend systems, APIs, and distributed architectures.

· Exposure to AI-driven testing tools or frameworks.

· Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

· Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).

· Experience with test data management and mocking/stubbing tools.

· Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

· Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.

· Basic knowledge of security testing.

· Exposure to GenAI-based test case generation or AI/ML-based testing tools.
