This role is designed for a proactive, results-driven professional focused on expanding business in the Hydronics sector. You will identify new opportunities, build strong relationships with contractors and clients, and collaborate closely with account managers to drive revenue growth across the region. The position combines market research, strategic outreach, and solution-focused selling, allowing you to shape the division’s footprint and influence market share. You will represent the company at industry events, deliver compelling value propositions, and ensure clients receive tailored solutions. Accountabilities:
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within the Hydronics sector, focusing on house accounts and regional contractors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors to foster collaboration and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with account managers to ensure a seamless, cooperative approach to business development.
  • Conduct market research to uncover trends, leads, and potential growth areas for products and services.
  • Present compelling value propositions and proposals that differentiate the division in the marketplace.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to stay informed of market developments and expand professional networks.
  • Track and report on business development activities, KPIs, and progress toward revenue goals.
  • Support internal training, sharing industry insights and coaching team members to elevate knowledge and capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales or business development within the water heater, plumbing, or Hydronics industry.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a dynamic, in-market remote environment.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and digital communication tools such as Zoom.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results, maintain accountability, and foster client-focused relationships.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical business practices.
