About This Position
General Purpose
Perform accounting services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of company business transactions and financial planning and reporting; assist CFO and senior management with special projects as required.
Essential Functions
· Prepare and file state tax returns; manage tax projects with outside accounting firm
· Process and approve employee expense statements
· Manage credit reference checks for new customers
· Assist with month-end closing process; bank reconciliation; budget preparation and analysis
· Prepare and complete statutory reporting for company’s truck fleet
· Process accounts payable weekly payments, working with the AP team.
· Cross-train and provide backup for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Material Receiving personnel
· Provide support to Controller, Chief Financial Officer for special projects
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:Education and Experience
· Manufacturing experience preferred
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or related fields
· Knowledge of GAAP/ accounting processes and procedures
· Strong knowledge of relevant accounting software (e.g. MS Office, Datacor ERP)
· A minimum of 3 years of applicable experience to include accounts receivable and accounts payable

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
· Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
· Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, utilize hand and finger dexterity, talk or hear.
· Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.
· While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet; moderate.
· The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision; color vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
