MANDEX currently has a need for a Logistician 2 to join our team in Charleston, SC. This individual is responsible for assisting the MANDEX logistics team in the cradle to grave management of Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) in support of MHS LAN/WLAN installation tasks.

This position will be primarily focused on managing our inventory in the product lifecycle management software (CMPRO), reporting in the GFP Module of Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), and performing cycle counts in accordance with MANDEX policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be extremely organized, self- motivated, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Completing receipt/gain, transfer, and issue inventory transactions in CMPRO.
  • Reporting receipt and transfer of GFP in PIEE.
  • Performing warehouse inventory audits (cycle counts, process reviews, etc.) to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Inspection and validation of inbound/outbound GFP/CAP. Reporting damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes.
  • Tracking material orders and shipments.
  • Assessing inventory needs for commonly used materials (e.g., consumables).
  • Inventory, staging, storage, and shipping of electronic equipment and related material.
  • Understanding and complying with requirements for handling and shipment of hazardous material commonly used in installations (e.g., paint, cleaning solvents, lithium batteries, other)
  • Assisting in weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly inputs for a variety of inventory and financial reports.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Experience:

  • Three (3) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronics systems to include logistics principles, practices, and processes preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience in support of C4ISR systems preferred.
  • CMPRO experience highly preferred.
  • Certified Forklift Operator or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
