Job Description for OBL nurse

• Registered Nurse position to support rapidly growing, busy outpatient vascular

procedure center consisting of 2 procedure labs and 8 holding room bays.

Work Schedule

• FT 5 days a week; 8:30a-5pm; hours can change week to week

Job Duties

• Admission, recovery and discharge of patients
• Triage phone calls from patients, refill prescriptions, etc.
• Be knowledgeable of aseptic technique and sterile field
• Intra-procedural charting and circulating during a variety of vascular procedures;
• AV fistula, Graft, Hemodialysis catheters, upper and lower extremity venous/arterial angiograms, thrombectomy and atherectomy procedures.
• Conscious sedation administration
• Next day wellness calls to patients
• Other duties as assigned

Experience

• 1 year cath lab experience highly preferred
• Intensive care experience preferred
• BLS (required)
• CLS (highly preferred)
