Join the Park Opportunity Garden

At Park, we believe a world-class landscape starts from the ground up—and that includes our team. We don’t just offer jobs; we provide a fertile space where you can plant your ambitions and watch them bloom. Our culture is built on a simple philosophy: When we invest in you, you invest in us.

The "Opportunity Garden" Framework

We’ve designed our employee experience around three core pillars to ensure you don’t just work—you flourish:

  • NURTURE: We Get It – We provide a supportive environment built on Integrity & Trust. Your wellbeing is our priority; we focus on Working Safe & Working Smart to create a frictionless environment with the tools you need to succeed without the burnout.

  • GROW: Building Capacity – We don’t leave your career to chance. Through our Employee Success initiative, we provide intentional growth plans, training, and resources to expand your skillset. If you have the ambition, we provide the ladder.

  • THRIVE: You Want It – This is where your "Can-Do" Attitude meets Empowerment. We trust you to be a problem-solver with the autonomy to tackle challenges head-on. We take pride in the tangible "before and after" of our labor.

The Role: Division Manager, Grounds Management

While we provide the environment, we need you to provide the leadership and strategic vision. In this role, you are the primary architect of the division’s performance, growth, and operational excellence. You will balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution, ensuring we deliver consistent quality and a high standard of customer experience across all seasons.

Your Daily Impact:

  • Strategic Leadership: Align divisional operations with company strategy and growth objectives while fostering a high-performance, safety-first culture.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all year-round services—including grounds maintenance, enhancements, and snow & ice management—ensuring they are delivered safely and efficiently.

  • Financial Stewardship: Own full P&L responsibility, managing budgets, forecasts, and labor efficiency to drive margin improvement and divisional profitability.

  • Client & Team Growth: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders while coaching and mentoring Project Managers and field teams to build leadership depth.

  • Process Innovation: Leverage technology and data to improve workflows, routing strategies, and operational scalability.

The Essentials for Growth (KSAs)

To truly thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid foundation of skills and the right mindset:

  • Knowledge: Deep expertise in grounds maintenance and snow & ice management; strong understanding of Alberta OH&S legislation, snow risk management, and local environmental regulations.

  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in industry software (e.g., Aspire, SiteDocs, ADP); expertise in P&L management, resource/route optimization, and tracking job costing metrics.

  • Abilities: 8–12+ years of progressive landscape maintenance experience with 3–5 years in a senior leadership role; valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License; ability to manage multiple priorities and large-scale seasonal operations in a fast-paced environment.

Ready to Branch Out? Your Future Starts Here

At Park, we don’t just hire—we plant the seeds for long-term success. If you’re looking for a workplace where your "Can-Do" attitude is rewarded with real opportunity, you’ve found it.

When you join our garden, you’re gaining:

  • Visible Career Paths: Clear milestones for advancement and raises.

  • Innovative Tools: Latest technology to make your job smoother, smarter, and safer.

  • Impactful Work: Pride in the physical transformation of our community.

  • A Culture of Respect: A high-trust environment where your voice is heard.

Park is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive "Opportunity Garden" for all employees.
