This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced event professional to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of high-impact trade shows and client conferences within a fast-growing fintech environment. In this role, you will oversee every stage of event management, from logistics and vendor coordination to attendee experience and post-event reporting. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams to deliver memorable events that strengthen brand presence and customer engagement. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys balancing multiple priorities, and excels at creating seamless experiences through exceptional organization and communication. With a strong focus on ownership and execution, this role offers the chance to directly influence business growth and client relationships across North America. The role is remote-first and provides flexibility while working alongside collaborative and innovative teams.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, and industry events across North America.
  • Manage all event logistics, including booth setup, shipping, vendor coordination, travel arrangements, and on-site operations.
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of the annual client conference, including venue selection, registration management, catering, AV, hotel coordination, and attendee communications.
  • Maintain and manage event budgets, ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time and within financial targets.
  • Coordinate closely with marketing, sales, customer success, and product teams to align event goals and maximize business impact.
  • Build and manage relationships with vendors, venues, and suppliers while negotiating contracts and service agreements.
  • Track event timelines, sponsorship opportunities, and registration deadlines through proactive event calendar management.
  • Deliver post-event reporting and insights, including attendance metrics, budget analysis, outcomes, and recommendations for future improvements.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of event management experience, ideally within B2B SaaS, fintech, or financial services environments.
  • Proven experience managing trade shows and multi-day conferences from planning through execution and post-event analysis.
  • Strong expertise in vendor negotiations, contract management, and budget ownership.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote and fast-paced startup environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel across North America for events throughout the year.
  • Familiarity with event registration platforms such as Eventbrite, Cvent, or similar tools is an asset.
  • Experience supporting customer conferences and industry events within banking or credit union sectors is considered a plus.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment.
  • Remote-first culture with flexible work arrangements.
  • Exposure to high-visibility industry events and strategic initiatives.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Potential eligibility for stock options depending on engagement structure.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding fintech ecosystem.
