This role focuses on the end-to-end design of high-quality printed circuit boards that meet demanding mechanical, electrical, RF, mixed-signal, and manufacturing requirements. You will work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to translate complex technical needs into robust and manufacturable PCB layouts. Operating in a remote and highly collaborative environment, you will engage daily with stakeholders to ensure alignment on design intent, timelines, and delivery expectations. The role requires both technical depth and creative problem-solving to handle complex, schedule-intensive projects. You will play a key role in ensuring design accuracy, product reliability, and on-time delivery while acting as a strong advocate for customer needs. This is a hands-on engineering role where precision, communication, and ownership directly impact product success.

Accountabilities:
  • Design printed circuit boards that meet or exceed mechanical, electrical, RF, mixed-signal, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Plan and manage design activities to ensure on-time delivery while proactively communicating progress and updates to customers and stakeholders.
  • Apply technical expertise and creative problem-solving to execute complex PCB layout projects with varying levels of schedule intensity.
  • Collaborate daily with customers and cross-functional design teams through web-based communication platforms.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve design and project-related issues throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Track project hours, activities, and quality metrics using internal reporting and project management systems.
  • Act as a customer advocate, supporting business growth through high-quality design execution and strong relationship management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or a minimum of 12+ years of PCB design/layout experience.
  • Strong expertise in PCB layout principles, including mechanical, RF, mixed-signal, and manufacturability constraints.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Cadence Allegro or Siemens Xpedition.
  • Solid understanding of IPC standards and PCB design best practices.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in remote environments.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities to manage multiple complex projects.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to design quality and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with distributed teams and customers.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and technical expertise.
  • Fully remote work environment within the United States.
  • Opportunity to work on complex, high-impact engineering design projects.
  • Collaboration with global teams and advanced engineering stakeholders.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge PCB design tools and methodologies.
  • Professional growth in a highly technical and specialized engineering field.
  • Emphasis on continuous learning and design excellence culture.
