Laboratory QA/QC Technician - III (Analyst)

1.0 Corporate Job Title

Laboratory QA/QC Technician - III (Analyst)

2.0 Reporting Relationships

Reports to the QA Director, but works closely with management

3.0 Position Summary

To coordinate and perform all functions related to Accounts Payable.

4.0 Minimum Requirements

• Be able and willing to travel at least 35%. Must possess excellent interpersonal/communication skills and strong statistical/analytical knowledge.

• Possess strong knowledge of both field inspection and laboratory operations in the petroleum industry.

• Have at least two years’ experience working with QA/QC processes. Requires a B.S./B.A. (preferably Science Degree) or a minimum of five years in the petroleum (preferably TIC) industry.

• Have excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and preferably SharePoint.

6.0 Responsibilities

• Provides recommendations and solutions that advance the company’s business interest and ensures customer satisfaction with company performance as it relates to the quality system.

• Ensures that quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes are maintained and in conformance to relevant standards and the QMS.

• Reviews quality control help requests and updates the information management system according to applicable standards and the QMS.

• Evaluates risks and assists personnel with the implementation of operational processes to meet applicable standards and the QMS.

• Works with personnel to investigate non-conformance, investigate root cause and implement appropriate corrective actions.

• Compiles and develops and prepares periodic quality performance data reports and analyzes quality performance data for explanations and solutions for improvements.

• Conducts internal audits as per policies, procedures and assigned schedules.

• Attends or assist in the preparation of external audits conducted by customers, government agencies or other interested parties.

• Assists and ensures that appropriate responses to client complaints are initiated and concluded.

• Documents/communicates findings and risks detected during internal and external audits and provides process owners recommendations for compliance.

• Leads and/or coordinate teams, trains and/or assists personnel in the implementation or maintenance of the quality management system and applicable standards.

• Authorized to approve and close QA system reports including corrective action reports, root cause investigations, audit reports, change management reports, and customer complaints.

• Works in conjunction with other QA team members and ensures that all processes, locations and/or divisions is maintained and complies with standards and the QM


Monday - Friday. 8-hour shifts
