Rocket Cypress Application Developer at Educology Solutions – Washington, District of Columbia

Job Description

ESI is seeking an Application Development Engineer that will assist in the deployment, initial configuration, and support of the Rocket Software Cypress EDMS (Electronic Document Management System). Our partner is using Cypress as part of a Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) in multiple states. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist in the initial server deployment, integration configuration and support of Cypress.
• Design, develop, and implement changes in configuration and custom programming for Cypress.
• Assist in the regular deployment and validation of updated configuration from one environment to the next.
• Troubleshoot issues with Cypress or its integration with various other systems within the MMS solution.
• Identify and apply process improvement steps to facilitate deployments and testing of these tools, improve efficiency and performance, and create automated notifications when servers/systems need review.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in application development and/or server configuration.
• Three or more years of application development experience.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with the server configuration.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with business analysts and team members.
• Ability to work with multiple teams and to multi-task across different tools and workflows.

Desirable Skills
• Experience working with document image storage and retrieval systems, especially Rocket Cypress.
• Experience with any of the following:  Azure DevOps, Ansible, Apache Tomcat, GitHub, IIS, .NET, PowerShell, SQL, XML.
