POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Recruiter is a key member of the Human Resources team and serves a critical role in enhancing the recruitment infrastructure of Acacia Network. The Recruiter is responsible for the development and implementation of a recruitment plan, talent acquisition strategies and best practices to meet the recruitment needs and challenges of the organization, strengthen the talent pool, and achieve the hiring targets and staffing objectives for the organization.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Design and implement a comprehensive recruitment infrastructure that integrates the core values, key goals and priorities the organization in a manner that is fiscally responsible and inclusive of Acacia Network’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Expertly manage the effective delivery of a full-cycle recruitment process including: maintaining requisition log, on-going communication with hiring managers through the recruitment process; talent mapping, sourcing candidates, interviewing and assessing candidates.
- Identify and utilize innovative marketing/branding and sourcing techniques to engage active and passive job seekers.
- Forge relationships with external business partners, college career centers, workforce development agencies, elected officials, and utilize a variety of sourcing techniques including cold calling, traditional and online networking, social media and other platforms/channels to source for active and passive candidates on an ongoing basis.
- Collaborate with Hiring Mangers to facilitate open and constructive communication regarding the effectiveness of recruiting efforts, define hiring needs and strengthen existing recruitment practices.
- Analyze and manage data to produce collegiate-level reports that track, document and measure recruitment progress.
- Produce monthly and quarterly metrics including average time to recruit, selection acceptance rates, cost per applicant hired, number of applicants hired, tenure/turnover of hires, absenteeism per hire, sourcing channels, open vacancies -vs- filled positions, etc.
- Track weekly progress towards recruitment-related goals.
- Stay apprised of and remain current on all laws and regulations within the appropriate jurisdictions as they relate to recruitment and selection and update recruiting policies and procedures as appropriate.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance throughout sourcing and screening process.
- Ensure Hiring Managers and all others involved in the hiring process are informed of current laws and regulations and conduct business in a manner that is compliant, avoiding potential liabilities.
- Stay abreast of and maintain best-practices/work-related knowledge and skills through continuous learning activities, attendance at inservices and workshops, etc.
- Ensure accuracy of recruitment activities and interview process data to assists with compliance and reporting requirements.
- Represent recruitment team positively & strategically in relationships and communication with candidates, HR partners and other recruitment team members within organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of four (4) years of proven experience with high-volume recruiting for a wide array of business and/or corporate roles, inclusive of specialized and niche positions.
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Excellent self-sourcing abilities including knowledge and experience with recruitment tools and techniques and LinkedIn Recruiter, Email Hunter, ATS, campaigns, Twitter, other social media platforms.
- Knowledge of current recruitment trends, with the ability to research new strategies for program and/or position specific needs.
- Experience in managing ATS systems.
- Strong assessment and interviewing skills.
- Exceptional data research/analysis/presentation skills.
- Knowledge and experience with recruiting metrics.
- Strong follow up skills.
- Familiarity with Boolean, flip search and data mining.
- Ability to create an exceptional candidate experience.
- Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement specific to the talent acquisition functions,
- Ability to identify gaps in recruitment efforts, and to develop, recommend and implement improvements.
- Must be a skilled communicator with the ability to communicate and interact with all levels of the organization, including senior management and executive team.
- AIRS Certification is a plus, though not required.
