Job description:

Location: 11340 S 153rd St, Omaha, NE 68138, USA

Job Summary: Responsible for the proper packing of product into containers to be shipped to customers. Affixes shipping labels to shipping container and inspects for accurate packaging, cleanliness.

Essential job duties include:

• Retrieves items from conveyor, organizes in cooler and affixes label to container, ensuring customer receives correct item(s) and the item(s) are properly packed. Maintains company safety policies are followed at all times
• Supports other packers by retrieving unusually sized items from freezer and placing at their table.
• Visually inspects product, packaging and dry ice/gel packs for cleanliness and other defects that may result in customer receipt of damaged goods or unsightly product. Follows proper procedures to reduce or eliminate product damage.
• Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and write in both English and Spanish
• Perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Accurately recognize numbers and alpha characters.
• Close attention to detail required when monitoring shipments, inspecting packages and dealing with inventory levels and product codes.
• Ability to understand and follow directions accurately.
• Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination are required in all aspects of job.
