PARAMEDIC - EMERGENCY ROOM at Aultman Health Foundation – ALLIANCE, Ohio

Basic Functions:

An Emergency Paramedic performs various duties within his/her scope of practice to assist the Registered Nurse, Physicians and other Hospital personnel with the provision of patient care in the Emergency Department. Paramedics may perform emergency services at the Hospital provided the services are performed in accordance with all the following conditions:

Education, Training and Experience:

1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Obtain and continuously maintain a current, active Ohio Paramedic-Paramedic certificate.
3. BLS through the American Heart Association within 3 months of hire. ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification within 6 months of hire.
4. Must be computer-literate to complete the task(s) as required. Such as MediTech (Hospital Support Software), Halogen (performance appraisal system), Relias (education system), ability to retrieve e-mails, complete online enrollment for health insurance/benefits and any other programs as assigned.
5. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification within three months of hire.
