Position Summary

KidsPeace is seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Education Facilitator for an immediate opening within our KidsHaven program. Located in Bethlehem, PA, this program provides essential care and support to unaccompanied migrant children as they navigate reunification and acclimation. You will work with children who have experienced trauma, loss, and major transitions, delivering culturally responsive and trauma‑informed care that promotes safety, trust, and wellbeing. The Education Facilitator in the KidsHaven Program manages the classroom setting and facilitates the learning process as the shelter students participate in the cyber school education provided through the shelter’s education partner.

Shifts Available

• Full time
• Day Shift 7am-3pm

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of paid experience with in an educational setting preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or verified equivalent preferred. Previous teaching experience preferred
• Experience in accreditation, licensing and regulatory compliance preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency—reading, writing, and speaking required
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance and Child Abuse History Clearance (processed by KidsPeace).
• Must pass a physical and drug screening (covered by KidsPeace).
• Must complete all KidsPeace-sponsored training.
