Maintenance Technician - Night Shift in Antioch, Illinois at Fischer Paper Products Inc

Fischer Paper Products is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Industrial Manufacturing team on 3rd Shift.

Maintenance Technician will be essential to supporting production operations by performing advanced repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment installations while ensuring safety, quality, and food-safe standards are met. The Maintenance Technician, Night Shift, will be integral to Fischer's continued growth and success. This role will be responsible for performing advanced repairs, maintenance, and installations of machinery, tools, and equipment to support night-shift operations in our production department. Additionally, this position will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the buildings, grounds, and utility systems of the entire manufacturing operation, including shipping, receiving, and warehousing functions.

Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment in accordance with quality standards
Complete repairs based on production demands
Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and schematics
Operate maintenance systems for time entry and work orders
Maintain parts inventory documentation
Perform facility, grounds, and property maintenance
Understand setup and operation of production equipment
Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and food safety standards
Work collaboratively with team members across departments
Perform additional duties as assigned

✔ 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
