Job description:
Licensed Clinical Psychologist – Autism & Pediatric Evaluation Services
We are a fast-growing pediatric therapy practice looking for a Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to lead autism and neurodevelopmental evaluations in a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinic setting.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-demand diagnostic role with built-in referrals, flexible structure, and both insurance + private-pay earning potential.
If you are passionate about pediatric autism assessment and want to work in a setting where your evaluations directly connect children to life-changing therapy services—this is the role.
What You’ll Do
-Conduct comprehensive autism spectrum evaluations (ADOS-2, clinical interviews, developmental history, testing as needed)
-Diagnose autism and related neurodevelopmental conditions
-Provide clear, compassionate feedback to families
-Write high-quality psychological evaluation reports
-Collaborate closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, feeding specialists, and behavior therapists
Offer both:
-Insurance-based evaluations
-Expanded private-pay comprehensive evaluations
Why This Role Is Different
-Built-in referral stream from an established pediatric therapy clinic
-Ability to shape and grow a diagnostic program
-Strong collaboration with SLP, OT, and feeding teams
-Opportunity to work in both medical-model + concierge-style diagnostics
-Flexible scheduling options (part-time or full-time)
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive and flexible structure based on experience and workload:
-Base salary or hourly compensation available
-Flexible scheduling (supporting work-life balance)
-Clinical autonomy with administrative support
-Wide variety of benefits including; medical, dental, 401k, etc.
Ideal Candidate
-Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology
-Licensed or license-eligible in Connecticut
-Experience conducting pediatric autism evaluations
-Strong working knowledge of ADOS-2 (preferred)
-Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary pediatric setting
-Excellent report writing and parent communication skills
-Passion for early intervention and neurodevelopmental care
Why Join Us
We are not a traditional clinic—we are building an integrated pediatric care model where diagnostics and therapy are seamlessly connected.
Your work will directly help families:
-Understand their child’s development
-Receive answers faster
-Access therapy sooner
-Build coordinated care plans across discipline
If you're looking for a role where your diagnostic expertise is highly valued, your schedule is flexible, and your work directly feeds into meaningful therapy outcomes—we would love to connect with you.
