This role sits at the intersection of operations, product, and AI-driven systems, focusing on building and maintaining the structured menu data that powers real-world Voice AI experiences in restaurant environments. You will ensure that menu configurations are accurate, complete, and optimized so that AI agents can deliver seamless, on-brand interactions to customers. The work directly impacts how intelligent and reliable the system feels in live, high-volume drive-thru settings. Operating in a fast-paced, AI-native environment, you will handle frequent updates, evolving requirements, and cross-functional collaboration. You will also use AI tools daily to improve efficiency and scale your output. This is a highly detail-oriented role where precision directly translates into customer satisfaction and revenue outcomes.
- Build, configure, and maintain structured menu data including items, modifiers, variants, upsell logic, and store-level rules that define AI agent behavior across restaurant locations.
- Ensure end-to-end accuracy and consistency of all menu configurations, recognizing their direct impact on customer experience and system performance.
- Manage continuous updates and optimizations, ensuring rapid turnaround times for menu changes and operational requests.
- Use AI tools and automation workflows to accelerate configuration tasks, improve QA processes, and reduce repetitive operational work.
- Support customers by implementing menu configurations, resolving issues, and managing escalations within defined service timelines.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to troubleshoot system behavior and improve platform functionality.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while tracking progress, priorities, and delivery timelines across different accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in operations, data management, or related fields.
- Prior experience working with restaurant menu systems or POS platforms such as Toast, Micros, Aloha, Brink, Xenial, or Positouch.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex structured data where small errors can significantly impact outcomes.
- Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, copilots) to enhance productivity and problem-solving.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Bonus: experience with basic scripting (e.g., Python), ticketing systems (e.g., Jira), or conversational AI systems.
