Sales Solutions Consultant

This role operates at the intersection of solution consulting, sales enablement, and financial technology expertise, supporting client-facing teams in delivering advanced payments and banking solutions to financial institutions. You will act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert across a broad portfolio of card and digital payment products, helping translate complex capabilities into clear, compelling value for clients. Working closely with account management, product, marketing, and implementation teams, you will support solution positioning, presentations, and deal strategy. The role requires strong commercial awareness and the ability to adapt messaging in real time based on audience needs and engagement dynamics. You will also play a key role in identifying opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting revenue growth initiatives. This is a highly collaborative, field-facing position where your expertise directly influences client adoption and business success.

Accountabilities:
  • Support solution-based selling efforts by building and managing a sales pipeline in collaboration with account management and prospect-facing teams.
  • Serve as a bridge between product, sales, and support teams to ensure accurate positioning and effective communication of financial services solutions.
  • Deliver client presentations, demos, and solution walkthroughs tailored to financial institutions and their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, implementation, marketing, analytics, and technical support to drive deal success.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on card processing, payments, and digital banking solutions to internal teams and clients.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and product developments to support positioning and strategic conversations.
  • Act as a problem-solving partner, addressing client inquiries and supporting solution design throughout the sales cycle.
  • Contribute to revenue achievement by supporting deal progression and maintaining strong engagement with prospective and existing clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in banking, credit union services, or card payments environments.
  • Strong expertise in financial services products such as debit, credit, prepaid, ATM, or digital payment solutions.
  • Experience in product demonstrations, solution consulting, or client-facing sales support roles.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to read client needs, adapt messaging, and influence decision-making in real time.
  • Strong sales acumen, including active listening, consultative questioning, and relationship building.
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools and CRM systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders.
