This Supervisor position will support the Neurology & Neurosurgery clinics and will be based primarily at Legacy Emanuel, Salmon Creek and Mount Hood Medical Center clinics. It will also provide back-up coverage support for the Supervisor at Legacy Good Samaritan and Medical Park Medical Center clinics.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for implementing and supporting clinic initiatives that fulfill the strategic goals of LMG and Legacy Health.
• Responsible for direct supervision of all support staff and coordination of the day-to-day operations of assigned areas.
• Provides coverage for manager in his or her absence.
• Responsible for facilitating communication and collaborating with staff, physicians and other providers, other Legacy departments, management, and customers in problem solving and project management.

Qualifications

Education:

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience:

• Minimum of three years progressively more responsible health care experience.
• Experience in electronic scheduling and EMR required.
• Lead worker or supervisory experience preferred.
• Dependent upon assigned Clinic, Certified Medical Assisting background may be strongly preferred.

• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment within stated guidelines.
• Intermediate to advanced PC-based computer skills.
• Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
