Job Description

Charleston, SC – The Corporate Revenue Analyst is a key player working closely with the Revenue

Leadership team, Corporate Directors, and Managers of Revenue at the corporate headquarters located in

Charleston, SC. This position will support Charlestowne's portfolio of hotels with daily tasks that include the

preparation of revenue reports that will assist the Revenue Department in implementing the Hotel's yield

strategies. The ideal candidate will display a passion for using data, have strong organizational and

communicational skills, meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in analytical tools, and a collaborative

mindset to help the revenue department to achieve its goals. This position is an entry level position designed

to expose the candidate to multiple markets and systems across the Charlestowne Hotels portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Accurate preparation and timely distribution of daily, weekly, monthly revenue reports – the reports include market segmentation analysis, production reports, source contribution analysis, daily pick-up reports, preferred guest program analysis, owner reporting, etc.
  • Knowledge of technical applications, property management systems, central reservation systems, and yield management systems.
  • Perform audits and maintenance on all systems such as PMS, CRS, RMS, and Sales & Catering Systems to ensure content and information is correct.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the structure of rates, room types, and hotel products.
  • Assist with ensuring all rates are loaded and inventory maintenance is correct.
  • Proactivity identifies and report rate parity issues.
  • Assists in completing end of month reporting.
  • Communicate strategies and procedures to other departments as required.
  • Assist in entering short and long term forecasts, as well as the annual budget.
  • Monitor and analyze the competition through market shops and online review to identify selling strategies and market trends.
  • Assist in maintaining the property's content/presence on internet sites and update as directed.
  • Perform cross portfolio reporting and comparisons.
  • Assist with property onboardings and transitions as directed.
  • Provide administrative support for the Revenue Leadership team.

REQUIRED:

  • Understanding of supply and demand modeling and inventory management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • 1-3 Years relevant revenue management/hotel work experience
