Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of AI Creative Systems in Canada.
This role sits at the intersection of creative production, AI systems design, and performance marketing, with the mandate to build an entirely new AI-native creative engine from the ground up. You will define how creative assets are generated, tested, iterated, and deployed across multiple consumer brands at scale. Working in a fast-moving, lean environment, you will replace fragmented creative workflows with structured, automated systems that dramatically increase speed, quality, and learning velocity. The role blends hands-on creative direction with systems architecture, requiring both strong aesthetic judgment and deep operational thinking. You will partner closely with growth, marketing, and leadership teams to turn creative output into measurable commercial performance. This is a high-ownership role where you will both build the system and prove its impact in live production environments.
- Design and build end-to-end AI-native creative production systems covering ideation, prompting, asset generation, QA, versioning, approvals, and deployment across channels.
- Produce and direct high-quality AI-generated creative (image, video, and copy), ensuring outputs meet premium commercial and brand standards.
- Establish scalable workflows, templates, and automation frameworks that enable consistent creative output across multiple brands and teams.
- Develop structured experimentation systems that connect creative variants to performance testing across paid media, email, and digital channels.
- Partner with growth and marketing teams to align creative production with campaign design, audience segmentation, and performance measurement frameworks.
- Define and enforce quality standards, prompting methodologies, asset metadata structures, and creative governance across AI-driven workflows.
- 7+ years of experience in creative production, design systems, performance creative, automation, or AI-enabled content workflows.
- Proven track record of building end-to-end creative systems that improve speed, quality, cost efficiency, or testing performance.
- Strong expertise with generative AI tools for image, video, and copy creation, including prompt engineering and iterative refinement.
- Ability to produce or direct photoreal, commercially viable creative assets with a high aesthetic and brand quality bar.
- Experience connecting creative production workflows to performance marketing, experimentation, or growth analytics.
- Strong systems-thinking and operator mindset with the ability to move from concept to execution independently.
- Excellent collaboration skills across creative, technical, and business stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
- Competitive compensation package aligned with senior leadership roles.
- Remote-first flexibility across Canada and the United States.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage (regional variations apply).
- Paid time off and additional wellness-focused benefits.
- Retirement savings plans with employer matching (RRSP/401(k) depending on location).
- Employee discounts across a portfolio of well-known consumer brands.
- Opportunity to shape AI-driven creative systems at portfolio scale across multiple high-growth brands.
