Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid California drivers license.
The Opportunity: You will step into a defining senior leadership role, serving as the primary architect of revenue growth for a rapidly expanding mechanical contracting firm. You have the unique opportunity to build and mentor a high-performing sales team from the ground up while directly influencing the company's trajectory and culture. This role grants you the autonomy to manage the sales engine of both construction and service divisions for a firm committed to enterprise-level execution.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Direct and develop a team of HVAC Account Executives and Sales Representatives to achieve aggressive individual and team revenue targets.
Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies across Construction and Service business lines to ensure diversified revenue streams.
Lead the identification and prioritization of strategic target markets, including general contractors, developers, and property managers.
Administer the HubSpot CRM platform to ensure absolute data accuracy, providing the executive team with real-time pipeline visibility.
Coordinate with Estimating and Operations departments to ensure all proposals meet margin targets and operational readiness.
Cultivate long-term strategic partnerships throughout Southern California to expand brand visibility and market share.
Champion a high-accountability culture by conducting structured weekly one-on-one coaching sessions and performance reviews.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years of sales experience specifically within commercial HVAC or mechanical contracting.
Proven experience managing a sales team, including setting targets and conducting formal performance reviews.
Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding multi-million dollar revenue targets in a leadership capacity.
Hands-on proficiency with CRM software (HubSpot preferred) for pipeline management and reporting.
Deep technical familiarity with commercial HVAC systems and preventative maintenance programs.
Ability to travel locally throughout Southern California for client meetings and site visits.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Demonstrated success in simultaneously scaling construction pipelines and recurring service contract bases.
Previous experience working within a union mechanical contracting environment.
Existing professional relationships with Tier-1 general contractors and facility managers in Los Angeles or Orange County.
