About This Position
Job Overview:Sever and remove parts from hogs. Slit open, eviscerate, and trim hog carcasses. Saw, split, or scribe hogs to separate carcasses. Cut, trim, and wash parts of hogs to isolate edible portions. Push up to 180 lbs. as required. Comfort with handling raw meat. Ability to perform physically demanding manual labor, including repetitive tasks for 8-10 hours. Capacity to lift 50 lbs. or more. Adaptability to a hot work environment. No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
The Harvest team member will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing meat for sale using knives, machinery, and various carving tools. The role involves working on an assembly line while adhering to strict sanitation standards.
