Carabetta Companies is seeking an IT Systems Coordinator/Assistant to support the Director of IT in maintaining and optimizing our technology infrastructure and enterprise systems, including Yardi Administration. This role plays a key part in supporting a property management environment, ensuring systems, applications, and sites operate efficiently across the organization. Responsibilities include hardware and software lifecycle management, system administration, vendor coordination, and end-user support. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically skilled, and experienced in supporting business-critical applications within a multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain, test, and deploy new hardware and software across the organization
- Administer and manage Active Directory, user accounts, and server-related needs
- Monitor system performance and ensure all sites remain fully operational
- Provide remote technical support and troubleshoot system, network, and hardware issues to end user and executives including workstations and mobile devices
- Travel to company sites as needed to resolve technical issues and perform on-site support
- Repair and maintain IT-related hardware, including diagnosing and resolving equipment failures
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades on all IT equipment and systems
- Run software maintenance tasks, patches, and system updates to ensure security and performance
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets, including tracking, auditing, and lifecycle management
- Monitor and manage IT equipment to ensure reliability and security
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and performance
- Assist in implementing new systems, tools, and infrastructure improvements
- Work with third-party vendors and service providers (e.g., website platforms, payroll systems, and software support teams) to resolve issues and manage services
- Website Development
Yardi System Responsibilities
- Maintain working knowledge of Yardi systems and functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve Yardi system issues, including user access, data integrity, and operational errors
- Build, configure, and manage a complex, mixed property portfolio within Yardi
- Support integrations and ensure system accuracy across properties and departments
- Help implement and maintain new Yardi technologies
- Serve as a liaison between IT and operations teams for Yardi-related initiatives
- Knowledge of RentCafe administration and management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in supporting or administering Yardi systems is required
- Experience in property management or real estate technology environments is required
- Experience with Active Directory and basic server administration
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and enterprise applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across different locations
- Strong organizational, reporting, and documentation skills
- Ability to work with external vendors and technical support teams
- Travel to sites as needed for technical support or training of systems
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and security best practices
- Experience with system integrations and database management
- Previous experience supporting multi-site operations and end users
