Job Title:Public Space Lobby Attendant
Job Summary:The Current Hotel, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection- a curated portfolio of distinctive and luxurious hotels- isseekinga diligent and guest-focused Public Space Lobby Attendant. In thisimportant role, you will ensure that all public areas of the hotel are impeccablymaintained, creating a welcoming and polished environment for guests.
Essential Functions:
- Clean andmaintainpublic areas such as the lobby, restrooms, hallways, elevators, and other common spaces to ensure they meet the hotelshigh standards.
- Monitor and restock supplies in public spaces, such as towels, tissues, and hand soap, ensuring availability at all times.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requestsregardingpublic area amenities and services.
- Perform regular checks to ensure all public areas are presentable, addressing spills, trash, or other issuesimmediately.
- Assistwithmaintainingcleanliness and organization in back-of-house areas as needed.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues in public spaces to theappropriate departmentfor resolution.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols while performing cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in housekeeping or public area maintenance is preferred but notrequired.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor with a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility toworkvarious shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift, push, pull, or carry items weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Perform repetitive motions, such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Tolerance for exposure to cleaning agents and varying temperatures, including outdoor areas.
