About This Position
Sheet Metal Installerat Sunstate Mechanical Services
Shift: 8am-4:30pm (Hours vary based on job site)
Location: Job sites are all throughout the Phoenix Valley area
Requirements:
- Youmustbe 18 years old.
- Youmustbe eligible to work in the U.S
- Youmustbe able to pass a drug test.
- Youmustbe able to pass a motor vehicle history check.
- For safety reasons, youmustbe able to speak English.
- Youmusthave your own tool kit.
- A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
- Able to lift up to 30lbs.
Job Duties:
As you might expect, technical work and customer serviceis at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, youll be:
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures based on blueprints and specifications
- Retrofit sheet metal components
- Operate various tools and machinery such as forklift, Cleat formers, Bar Folders, Shears, Roll Former, Band Saw, Rotary Machine, Flangers, notchers etc, Welders etc
- Must have basic understanding of HVAC items that need to be built.
- Install, Alter, Fabrication, and Repair Sheet Metal Products, Equipment Ducts, and Hoods for HVAC Systems
- Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal components
- Responsible for teaching apprentices.
- Additional duties as required
