McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC is seeking attorneys to join its municipal government department. The position involves all aspects of municipal government work and the representation of public bodies, including but not limited to work in general public sector law, with a focus on public contracting, complex procurement, employment and labor, and affordable housing. The work will involve research and the drafting of legal documents including resolutions, ordinances, contracts, agreements, and legal opinions. In addition, the position will involve attendance at public meetings and hearings. Candidates should have substantial municipal government experience, be willing to assume responsibility for significant matters, attend meetings and be admitted to practice in New Jersey. Must have excellent drafting skills, exceptional academic background, and the ability to handle multiple projects at one time. Limited hybrid schedules will be considered.
