Field Harvest Mechanic

JOB SUMMARY:

The AG maintenance mechanic ensures that the production equipment is properly set up and maintained to ensure that all production requirements are met in a timely manner.

• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance activities and report any equipment issues.
• Basic/Electrical troubleshooting/repairs/installation
• Repair equipment in a breakdown situation
• Replace broken equipment components in a timely manner.
• Perform equipment evaluations and recommend improvements.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Follow all Food Safety and GMP policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of experience as an AG maintenance mechanic
• Able to generate equipment reports and recommend improvements.
• Able to work on own with minimal supervision.
• Ability to weld Mild (stick and tig)
• Knowledge and experience in Garlic production and manufacturing processes and techniques, plus
• Ag experience, a plus
