Laundry Aide at Jefferson Community Health Center – Fairbury, Nebraska

Jefferson Community Health & Life is looking for someone to work as a Laundry Aide.

Hours: 5:00 am. - 10:00 a.m., Monday thru Friday

Position Summary:

Maintains clean linen stock for the hospital, nursing home, wellness center and assisted living to ensure our customers have the items needed to provide excellent customer care.

Essential Job Duties:

* Maintains sufficient clean linen stock

* Operates commercial washers, dryers and other laundry equipment.

* Ensures that all assigned dirty linen carts are emptied daily.

* Uses and disposes of chemicals according to directions and MDS.

* Sorts dirty linens in dirty room.

* Processes linens both clean and dirty.

* Maintains cleanliness of the laundry department.

* Folds and sorts nursing home residents clothing.
