Network Services Program Manager - Remote at Internet 2 – Remote

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Partnerships, the Network Services Program manager will be responsible for data management for Network Services programs including Network Participation, Cloud Connect, DDoS, RPI, Government member contracts (such as NOAA, USDA, NIH, FDA), Industry members. For each service, this position is responsible for overall data management including creating accurate member relationships, document locations, and storing all background information to ensure that reporting is accurate. This position is responsible for complex vendor agreements and relationships and will track vendor and member agreements from start to finish.

Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Responsible for entire workflow cycle for member and vendor agreements across eight (8) programs, developing processes with Network Services staff, Internet2 members, TSG and legal from member review to signature to contract archive and reporting.
• Acts as division Data Management Specialist providing data management support and reporting services using Salesforce and other tools.
• Ensures Salesforce shows current opportunities and data ensuring accurate reporting.
• Works closely with Network Services business office and accounting to ensure that there is a smooth transition from contract execution to service fulfillment to billing (quote to cash).
• Creates regularly run and ad hoc reports using available tools including Salesforce. Assists with assessment and evaluation of Salesforce product enhancements as they pertain to Network Services.
• Responsible for maintaining and creating positive relationships with federal and industry members; ensuring accurate execution of contracts with Federal agencies; including tracking contract renewal dates, reporting and compliance requirements, and documenting contract vehicles.
• Tracks process steps using Smartsheet, Salesforce and other tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Computer Studies or equivalent related experience.
• 3+ year’s experience in telecommunications related work.
• 2+ years experience with CRM data management, ideally Salesforce or similar customer engagement software.
• Familiarity with data structures, reporting and queries.
• Understanding of federal and government contracts and legal agreements generally.
• Ability to work with diverse groups across all organizational departments as well as members and vendors.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically.

Preferred Skills:

• Cloud technology understanding.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Experience with technical business operations.
• Leadership and coaching skills.
• Experience with Salesforce reporting.

Salary Range / Pay Grade:

$92,800 - $139,200 / B-7

Starting pay is typically from the minimum up to the midpoint of the grade range and varies based on experience.
