We are looking for motivated and hardworking garbage truck helpers that take pride in giving back to our communities with the safe and responsible removal of our communities’ trash by safely and efficiently assisting the driver with picking up trash and operating Rear Load, Front load, and Roll Off garbage trucks on our municipal streets, alleyways, highways, customer sites, and construction sites.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Picking up community trash and dumping in the rear of the truck.
• Operate lever hand controls for hydraulic machinery when needed.
• Assist the driver with backing of the truck.
• This is a position requiring heavy lifting, fast paced walking, and climbing in and out of the truck.
• This is a full time, year-round position. A typical work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday (Occasional Saturday as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Able to work in a fast-paced position in all weather.
• Ability to lift 70 plus pounds throughout a typical shift.
• Able to operate lever hand controls for hydraulic machinery.
