Tissue Recovery Tech (palliative, death care) at Mid South Transplant – Memphis, Tennessee

As a Tissue Recovery Technician, you will be working on a team that will recover postmortem musculoskeletal and/or cardiovascular tissues by using surgical techniques in our donor service area (3 hour radius of Memphis, TN). You are the surgeon doing the recovery! We provide the training (takes approximately 3 months).

Working Hours: Full time. On call - (24 hr shift) 15 days per month which includes some wkends/holidays. Use of company vehicle to travel to hospitals.

QUALIFICATIONS: Individuals with Aseptic Technique and Human Anatomy knowledge. Experience as an EMT, Autopsy Technician, Surgical Technician, funeral home experience. Salaried: $37k- $53k /yr depending on experience plus eligible for overtime pay.
