ASC Engineered Solutions is looking for an Accounting Manager based out of our Oak Brook IL headquarters. This individual will be self-motivated to work directly with leaders in the business to ensure all aspects of Financial Statements comply with US GAAP. The Accounting Manager should be creative, dedicated, and able to work with a collaborative culture. They must have the ability to plan and direct the accounting activities of the organization.

How You Will Help:

• Manages the accounting area implementation of a new enterprise resource planning software.
• Manages, coaches, develops and supervises the accounting staff who are responsible for financial accounting and reporting.
• Recruits and hires accounting and financial staff and conducts performance evaluations.
• Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for current staff.
• Manages people, process and systems to ensure accurate and timely preparation of general ledger data, including account reconciliations.
• Oversees systems, processes and controls for gathering data, analyzing information, confirming the accuracy of reports and provides recommendations for improving accounting processes.
• Establishes and improves internal controls, processes, and guidelines for accounting transactions.
• Understands financial and business operations at the company and supports cross-functional teams in understanding the accounting impacts of business activities.
• Responsible for core accounting programs, including select functions of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
• Coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
• Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
• Supports other projects within finance and the overall business, providing accounting support and expertise where applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA or MBA preferred
• 5-10 years experience
• Experience with system implementation preferred
• Excellent management and supervisory skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent with Microsoft applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience with data analysis tools preferred (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx)
• Ability to multitask and work effectively with others in a team environment.
• Self-starter with excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
• Detail, deadline and goal oriented.

$100k-150k Base + Bonus
