Remote Clinical Project Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Clinical Project Manager - REMOTE. In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of clinical projects, enhancing operational processes while ensuring the successful execution of various clinical studies. You will play a crucial part in driving consistency and effectiveness within teams, leveraging established frameworks and best practices to harmonize cross-functional collaboration. Your expertise in project management and clinical research will enable you to navigate complex project landscapes, fostering innovation and ensuring transparency across deliveries. Accountabilities
  • Manage multiple concurrent clinical projects from initiation through completion.
  • Own project scope, schedule, and execution across assigned initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and dependencies using tools such as Smartsheet.
  • Track progress, identify risks, and ensure alignment to study milestones and deliverables.
  • Ensure consistent execution of established PMO processes and clinical project standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects.
  • Serve as liaison between clinical teams, functional partners, and leadership.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain project dashboards, status reporting, and portfolio tracking.
  • Proactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, clinical research, operations, or related field.
  • Experience managing multiple complex, cross-functional projects in a matrixed environment.
  • Familiarity with clinical research processes (e.g., post-market, IDE).
  • Strong ownership of project delivery across scope and execution.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
  • Demonstrated strength in risk identification and issue resolution.
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience.
